Measures to Address Rubber Odor During Manufacturing Major Rubber Manufacturer (Aichi Prefecture)

As background, the odor of rubber in the prototype building was a challenge, causing concerns both for the working environment and for surrounding areas. Various materials were tested, but no effective solution was found. Therefore, installing b.cave's spot deodorizer (filled with extruded molded parts) at the work site made odor countermeasures possible. This enabled deodorization on-site (in a single pass) without requiring outdoor exhaust.

Garlic Odor Countermeasures at Major Hotels in Kyoto City

The background for this implementation was an issue where garlic odors generated in the kitchen were flowing into banquet halls and other areas. Existing filters proved ineffective at eliminating the odor, causing significant problems. By installing b.cave sheet products (non-woven fabric filters) inside the 'heat recovery ventilation units' located within the existing ventilation ductwork, the influx of odors was eliminated. Furthermore, the effectiveness of this solution has been confirmed to be long-lasting.

Countermeasures Against Equipment Damage Caused by Acid Gases Osaka Seiko Co., Ltd. Nara Plant (Steel Wire Manufacturer)

The background for this implementation was the issue of high failure rates for precision equipment inside control panels and operation boxes due to the large amount of acidic gas generated during the iron washing process. We began exploring solutions to adsorb this acidic gas.b. Cave's extruded honeycomb filters were installed inside the control panel and the operator box. While hydrogen chloride levels of 8~10 ppm were detected in areas without installation, zero detection of this gas was observed in the installed areas.

Customer Comment After installing the honeycomb filters, we feel the air quality inside the control panels has improved, preventing premature failure of electronic equipment. As part of our expansion plan, we intend to install them sequentially in the control panels and various operation panels of our acid washing equipment.

PCP: Porous Coordination Polymer MOF: Metal-Organic Framework

PCP/MOF stands for "Porous Coordination Polymer / Metal-Organic Framework,"
a structure with countless pores formed by metal ions and organic ligands interlocking like a jungle gym.
PCP/MOF represents a breakthrough in materials science as a new type of porous material. Its pore size and properties can be designed based on the type of ligands used, and it can also utilize the functions of metal ions.

Its excellent adsorption capacity, leveraging its porosity, allows it to capture many times more molecules than activated carbon.
